It feels more like sinking
if I'm being honest, but
one thing I knew for sure --
you're only left to drift,
if there's nothing there to hang onto.
You're only option is to sink
if you can't swim or can't be pulled up.
You only forced to move on
when you got to go
forward & the only one you loved
the most is willingly waiting
for you to move on while staying there.
