Dear CB Poetry Pantry Readers,
I hope you are doing well and enjoying reading the poetry I add to the pantry from my heart. I can't tell you how much I appreciate you're love and support for my craft. Thank you for every visit to the pantry, every comment, and every share. I wanted to inform you about some changes that are coming to or have already arrived at Chrissy Bloom's Poetry Pantry.
1) For those who have been regular readers here, you might have already noticed the most major changes. One of them being the change in the blog's name. Chrissy Bloom's Poetry Pantry, used to be called Chrissy Bloom's Paradise. After considering different names for the blog and consulting with a lifelong CB reader. I came up with the name that we have now.
2) Another big change that you might have noticed is that there's a lot more consistency with the post. I KNOW FINALLY! RIGHT? I noticed I needed to keep you engaged and by keeping you engaged I have to put out more contact. I have had people comment on wanting new posts when I talked to some of you when I was introducing you to the pantry. You ask and you shall receive. Now every Thursday at promptly [12:00pm (EDT), 9:00am (PST) or 11:00am (MT)] a new poem will be posted and added to the ever-growing poetry pantry. However, it won't stop there. Periodically I will get entranced to post a second poem to add to the pantry. Now it might not happen every week and this spontaneous post will not follow any particular schedule either. So readers, please do not get disappointed if a second poem doesn't appear every week. If you do want me to schedule a second post don't hesitate to tell me that. I will circle back around and how to do that later.
3) Another major change that you might have already noticed is that there is a little bit more information about me Chrissy Bloom. To get to know more about me as a poet and as the person behind the craft. I will open a contact form for you to reach out to me directly so you can ask me anything. I'm so excited to receive you're questions. And when I get some in I will add some frequently asked questions from my readers along with my answers. This way we can engage with each other, just as you've been engaging with my words. This is also a very good way to share some of your CB demands with me. I will try my very hardest to accommodate and respond to all of you as soon as possible.
4) I have decided to update the appearance of my Poetry Pantry. This update to the appearance is visible as soon as you click on the site. This update also consists of a couple changes that are more welcoming and accessible for you all as the readers. I have a new search engine, which you can use to find all of your favorites.
5) If you're new to the CB family and to Chrissy Bloom's Poetry Pantry and you don't really know how to feel about this new environment. 1) WELCOME!! Make yourself at home! 2) I have added a spot so that you can see the popular poems that are right here in the pantry. Below the title of the poem, you are able to read a snippet of the poem itself. This new spot is also for the frequent visitors here too. Maybe you're already in love with what you've read and wanted to go down memory lane and read of some of my popular poems, Well there they are. Enjoy!
